Festive Friday: Christmas Cards

HAPPY DECEMBER! And to the start of everything jolly for the holidays! This is the first post for my Festive Friday series. Each week through the New Year, I will be posting my faves for the upcoming holiday shenanigans.

I used to think that greeting cards were totally 1990s and only something my grandma cared about, but recently I’ve taken a love to the ole snail mail! With the increase in technology and everyone’s busy schedule, when I receive a card in the mail, I get SO excited! Someone putting forth that extra effort means so much more to me than a text or post on my Facebook. This year, Greg and I are extending the warm gesture for the holidays by sending our FIRST EVER Christmas cards as Mr. & Mrs. Gomez!

Our wedding invitation experience was beyond smooth, so we decided to stay with Paperless Post. I, mean, really…where else can you get excellent customer service and Personal Designer Services (PDS)? Paperless Post offers specialists to help every step of the way with invitations for FREE! From design assistance, color matching, photo retouching and custom monograms, they have it all and make ordering any invitation SO EASY!

I’m so happy with the “Ornaments” design we chose and will be framing this first Christmas card to cherish for years to come! It’s so different from the typical holiday card feel. I love how bright and Kate Spade-ish they are! Plus, adding a personal touch with photos is always great! And for your tech savvy family members, you can even send an online version.

Here are some other designs that are adorbs:

I can’t say enough how obsessed I am with Paperless Post. They have fabulous deals going on and who’s not about saving money this time of year?! They even make stationary which is great for gift giving for the boss.

Order by December 31st and get 20% off with the code “JOYFUL”

I hope this inspires many of you to ditch the technology and kick it old school with some cute Christmas cards. Trust me, Grandma will thank you for it for years and years to come!

Have a Married Christmas Y’all!

PS That would totally be the cutest writing on a Christmas card for a newlywed couple! DYING right now!
