10 Best Eats of Nashville

After just getting back from the ultimate girls’ trip in Nashville, TN, I literally can’t stop thinking about all of the good eats we had. My bestie, Emma, and I are professional foodies. Legit, we plan our trips around restaurants and Google menus nonstop. Don’t judge!

We found so many great places and even some off the beaten path. Special thanks to our Uber driver, James, for the 411 on all of hot spots!

If you love fluffy biscuits, this is the place for you! Originally a food truck, Biscuit Love quickly became the talk of Nashville when they opened a storefront in 2015. They are known for their signature item, Bonuts, which is fried biscuit dough with lemon mascarpone and blueberry compote. Pic below! I ordered the “Lily” which is biscuit french toast. AMAZING!

With BBQ roots dating back to 1827, this place can cook up some killer eats. Known for its dry rub ribs, Peg Leg Porker keeps your mouth watering and satisfies craving for good ole southern cooking. If you don’t get there before 7 p.m., they sell out of the best menu items like BBQ beans and their pork. That goes to show that it’s good!

In 2014, Cooking with Paula Dean Magazine named Peg Leg Porker one of the “Top 10 BBQ joints in the U.S.”

I’m a breakfast lover and this place was everything I could ever want and more! There is almost always a line around the building to eat there. Legit, you have to get there before 10 a.m. or you’ll be waiting 30 minutes or more. Each breakfast entree comes with a stack of pancakes and they are THE BEST pancakes!

A MUST visit while in Nashville! Not only is it at the foot of the famous Natchez Trace Parkway, but it’s also home of delicious biscuits and fun for the whole family. They have a little town-like feel surrounding the restaurant with an event venue and little shops. They even make their own jams which are the bomb! Plan to wait 30 min to an hour to eat at this restaurant, but it’s so worth it!
