When I think of sweater weather, I immediately want to snuggle on the couch and drink a warm cup of hot cocoa in comfy pajamas with the ones I love. This recipe is the ultimate comfort and fun for the whole family during the holidays.
WHAT Y’ALL NEED
4 cups low fat or skim milk
3 tablespoons Nutella
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sugar
Mini marshmallows
Mini chocolate chips
STEP ONE
Heat milk in a medium sized saucepan on medium – high heat until beginning to warm and steam.
STEP TWO
Add the Nutella, cocoa powder and sugar, and whisk until dissolved and combined.
STEP THREE
Bring to a gentle simmer while stirring, and take off heat. Serve and top with marshmallows and chocolate chips.
Recipe makes around 4 cups.
ADD A TWIST
For the adults, you can spike your cocoa with Bailey’s Irish Cream or Kahlúa. So delicious and it’s guaranteed to warm you up!
