The Perfect Pants

I’ve always been under the assumption that in order to be professional, you had to dress stale. And let’s be honest, that’s just not me. at. all.

I like to be different and clearly, I like to add a little spice to my wardrobe. Dressing professional doesn’t have to be all black and straight-edged, but finding what fits you (pun intended) can be the challenge.

If there is one thing I absolutely hate shopping for, it’s pants. Whether it be jeans or work wear, I despise trying on pants. The sizes are always inconsistent, the crotch is too long, the waist fits but the but doesn’t…you know all of the struggles.

It’s truly the quickest way to feel self-conscious and like complete crap when shopping. Except for when I found these pants at Old Navy. I tried them on a complete whim, not expecting to like them at all and then a miracle happened. I LOVED THEM!

They were the perfect right-above-the-ankle length, a nice comfort around the waist and that booty…had me feeling like a Kardashian. So basically, I bought four pairs and have no regrets. They come in quite a few different colors too.

I paired the perfect pants with a nice v-neck t-shirt for a casual take, a blazer to say I mean business, and my favorite Steve Madden heels. This look was so comfy and showed a different take on business professional.

Whew, it has been a long week and I am so looking forward to a weekend working on the house with my hubs. Sounds super lame, but I love nothing more than DIY projects and making our house a home 🙂

Happy Friday dolls!
