I’ve never been shy in saying I had absolutely no clue where to start or what to buy when it came to having a baby. But fast forward 6 months later and a lot has changed. I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of this whole parenting thing. We’re starting to get in our groove and maintain a schedule. And boy does it feel like such an accomplishment.
Everyone keeps reminding us that “it goes by so fast” and “enjoy the little moments.” It got me thinking about our little moments. Because though everything is scheduled nowadays and life is busy, the little moments like bathtime with little Levi has to be one of my favorite moments of the day. It’s so special to me. And I think it’s because I can vividly remember these same precious moments as a kid with my mom and spending the night with my sister at our grandma’s house.
We would go to the local pizza buffet or go see a movie, come back home and take a bubble bath with JOHNSON’S® Baby Bedtime Bath. Oh it smells so good!
It’s actually the first thing I bought for Levi’s bathtime routine because I knew as a mom that I wanted the best for my baby boy. I know I can count on JOHNSON’S® to be the brand my family has always trusted. My grandma and mom both used it on me and my sister so it’s only right to carry on the family tradition. And now JOHNSON’S® is more gentle than ever. Their new and improved formula, containing 50 percent fewer ingredients and including over 90 percent naturally derived ingredients, is free of parabens and phthalates, dye free and sulfate free. Knowing this gives me comfort in using these products on Levi.
Another added benefit of JOHNSON’S® is how easy it is to shop for it. Levi has been in daycare since he was 3 months old. And as all of you moms out there know, daycare often means your baby having the crud off and on until your baby’s immune system is a champ. Levi was stuffy a few weeks back and my mom friends had recommended some saline drops and a bath to break up the drainage.
I ran to Walgreens down the road from our house and bought the JOHNSON’S® Baby Soothing Vapor Bath. I was also able to get some more advice from the friendly pharmacist. She even walked me to the aisle to show me where everything was. I can always count on Walgreens to take care of my family when they’re sick or if I need something last minute like in this case. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stopped in to grab that makeup I’m out of or the extra baby wipes for the car.
Beginning on Aug. 26, you can actually save $1 on any 1 JOHNSON’S® lotion, wash, or hair care item. Offer ends on Sept. 22.
The JOHNSON’S® Baby Soothing Vapor Bath was soothing to Levi and and just gentle enough on his skin. Totally a parenting win! And even better that I was able to get everything easily while on-the-go.
Bathtime is starting to become more fun with little Levi too. He’s almost sitting up by himself so I know toys and little rubber duckies are in our future. And I know even more that JOHNSON’S® Baby bath and its bubbles will be the highlight of our nightly routine. These are moments my heart so looks forward to!
This coming weekend is a big one for us in the Gomez household. Levi will be spending the night at my parent’s home for 3 days. This is the first time without me or Gregory. You could say I’m a little nervous. My mom on the other hand is thrilled to pieces.
Lucky for her, I was able to also at Walgreens find this JOHNSON’S® Baby Tiny Traveler Pack so I have piece of mind knowing he has a little bit of home with him while we’re out of town. I’ll keep y’all posted on how we survive!
